Simple Argument

Because you investigate problems/issues/phenomena using a systematic scientific process designed to transition from the raw state of an observation for a specific phenomenon/problem to a meaningful information state that interprets the observation, answers questions, solves problems related to it, and furthermore; enable us to simulate the phenomenon if necessary.

In humanity’s quest for the existence question researchers use science, and scientific methodologies. If during this quest, a researcher searches for answers to this question presuming this existence is a result of coincidence, this means the researcher defied the basic hallmark of a researcher character and contradicted their scientific mindset, since:

1. This presumption will lead them throughout their research process biased towards finding a specific result “coincidence”, and the researcher should remain neutral during the research process
2. A systematic existence and coincidence are two completely different and opposing beliefs; how can a well-organized system be a result of mere coincidence, and how can coincidence produce a well-organized system?

While point 2 has been elaborated in the above visual, we’ll dig further in point 1 below:

If we believe that our scientific research will lead us one day sometime in the future to one single theory that explains everything; and at the same time we presume that this theory will lead us to one specific finding in our research and we run our research focusing on accumulating and formulating evidence that corroborates and supports this one specific finding this would be an indicator of an inherited and deeply rooted bias. A true researcher would refrain from bias if they are to be truly scientific in their research and application of scientific methodologies, and one reason is –> During testing hypotheses unexpected data, observations, and findings might arise, opening the door for other/alternative hypotheses/explanations that didn’t cross the researcher’s mind earlier. Being biased in favor of a specific finding/result might drive the researcher to turn the blind eye from exploring alternative probabilities and possibilities proposed by the data, observations, and findings that arouse. An example of this are researchers who strive to find an answer to the question of existence presuming their research results will refute creationism and the existence of God. In this case we can say with confidence that the goal of their research was to prove a specific point of view they believe in; the non-existence of God, rather than answer the question of existence. It is common sense that the researcher bias undermines the reliability of the research findings.

One of the most interesting news in 2013 I heard was:

After fifty (50) years of hard work and scientific investigation the scientists were honored a Nobel Prize for Physics in 2013, because “the researchers’ mechanism would contribute to our understanding of the origin of mass of subatomic particles, and which recently was confirmed through the discovery of the predicted fundamental particle, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider””.

Fifty years of the hard work of 2 devoted scientists combined resulted in a contribution to the understanding. This made me wonder: how long until we formulate an understanding beyond the least doubt? If achievable at all.

Think, there’s a reason why the mind is not a common ownership and why each one of us has a mind of their own.

This reminds me of parts of 2 verses in Quran from Surat Al Isra and Surat Yusuf:

“… وَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن الْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً” سورة الإسراء (85)

This part of the verse is translated as: “… of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)” Surat Al Isra (85)

“… وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ” سورة يوسف (76)

This part of the verse is translated as: “… but over all endued with knowledge is one, the All-Knowing.” Surat Yusuf (76)

Twisted

On the other end of the phone she was crying and sobbing over a need she worked hard to satisfy but failed badly to; only to end shredded in total despair, vulnerability, and devastation.

During direct communication with her she conveys and fully adopts the model of a simple female with low to moderate needs; being the trivially demanding lady. She portrays herself as well as a victim of people in her life and events she experience.

Social networks is a great arena for her to express herself the way she prefers to be perceived and drawn in others’ minds. From that point she excelled in tailoring her marketing techniques to the service of her growing desires. She also managed to secure a friendly perception of herself; an image necessary to hide a competitive spirit willing to ruin anybody who stand or might in her desires’ way.

Too many conflicting incidents accumulated at this point; giving rise to a persistent need to:

Time was passing by very slowly at the earliest shocks and disturbing discoveries, at an accelerated pace later on, driven into uncontrolled velocity eventually.

Having experienced so much, rewinding became a must , not for the sake of experiencing the exact details, but rather for the purpose of learning the maximal lessons that could be grasped.

Through time progression the very friend grew into a frenemy only to mature into a true enemy, which happened to be so since their earliest relationship with everybody. While she pictured herself being a victim of everybody, everybody ended being a victim of her unique twisted attributes, conspiracy being the least of them.

With schizophrenic tendency, and aggressively developing severe sick psychological conditions, she found no better strategy than to impersonate others in different occasions in a way that suits her needs, while utilizing whatever details she could collect about those she needs to impersonate during a journey dedicated to fulfill an abnormal, and uncontrollable curiosity.

Those low breakdown moments were her most sincere and act-fake free times when anybody could get to know her for real. Throughout those times she exposed her deep twisted character hidden underneath thick layers of conspiracy, deception and dishonesty, totally naked for anyone to not observe or mistaken the ugly and evil character she grew into.

Her barely average capabilities made her unable to remain balanced under pressure and stress, at which point she responds by becoming an overly-chaotic being, unleashing dark secrets and disgusting areas hidden skillfully underneath the skins she keeps borrowing and wearing.

In total disgrace, anybody who knows her pretty well, regret knowing her at all, and question their intelligence and how it betrayed them failing to uncover the true self of her earlier in the course of meeting her.

Beyond and Controversial

In their continuous endeavors to understand existence; humans employ the best of their knowledge and abilities, and invest the most attainable resources.

They always believe there are unknown, or undiscovered facts; whether regarding dimensions which existence they are aware of, or unknown dimensions they are either unaware of their existence, or believe they exist but have no information that prove they exist.

Their information quest to build reliable knowledge, leads them to navigate beyond conventional borders and push existing limits farther, only to discover there will always be mysterious areas they haven’t reached yet, and their abilities are incapable of comprehending certain issues within or outside these areas.

This has always been my case with the “Spirit”; an issue I have always been curious to understand and paused to think in a different route only when I read the following ayah in the Holy Quran:

{They ask thee concerning the Spirit (of inspiration). Say: “The Spirit (cometh) by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)”} 85, Sura Al Isra

As Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Arabic language, I will include the original Arabic text of the ayah below:

{وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي وَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن الْعِلْمِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً }(85)  سورة الإسراء

George Galloway on the Balfour Declaration …

Interesting Discussion between George Galloway and one of his listeners; about Palestine, the holocaust, and the Balfour Declaration. Below are chosen parts of the discussion:

“… What right did Britain have to grant you somebody else’s country? … The Jews have suffered racist anti Semitism down the ages in many European countries including our own; they were subject to regular discrimination at best and pogrom and murder at worse … The one place in the entire world that Jews were neither discriminated against, nor subject to pogrom, was the Muslim world. In fact so much was that the case that when Christianity came back to power in Spain in Andalusia in the Western extinct of the Islamic Empire; when the Muslims left the Jews left with them because they feared the Christian anti Semitism which would be unleashed in the wake of the departure of the Islamic civilization in the West… The Palestine that was wiped out off the map when Britain granted you somebody else’s country had Jews living side by side with Christians and Muslims for century upon century without the slightest trace of discrimination or violence or pogrom. I make the point about atheism because it’s now claimed that it is some biblical land right as if God was an estate agent, … the Zionists represented a tiny sliver of Jewish opinion at that time; yet, Balfour promised them the land which belonged to a third people without consulting either the British or the world’s Jews, and least of all consulting the Palestinians…”

Personal Observations about Humans Series (4)

Civilization cannot be obtained merely by purchasing brand name products, driving luxurious cars, or spending a relaxing vacation in an expensive resort or spa. Civilization is about deeply rooted and effortlessly repeated civilized practices of living. That is; once the civilized practice is set to be the norm, it turns into a basic of living. Onwards, the civilization can build on this basic to standardize it through translating it into societal behaviors and attitudes. Real evolving civilizations would even improve such basics further and continuously, in order not to render their civilization to obsolescence in a continually evolving world.

In some cases, a business that failed might be better than a business idea that remained experimental or was never converted into an actual investment. Even in extreme and painful cases of business failure, the lessons learned comprise a treasure if documented and shared properly for learning purposes.

Some societies focus in their businesses on the image, on the expense of a solid core that successively survives fierce economic climates and fluctuations, and on quick and massive short term gains, on the expense of recurring and sustainable real long term profits. Businesses of such societies lend themselves to inevitable deterioration that might develop into termination even when success has been experienced at the outset. Shortcomings here are evident in:

• People who run the business focus on a quick image they want to reflect to easily and quickly market themselves and their businesses, before they focus on building solid internal operations and processes which would result normally in reflecting an actually existing good business image.
• The short term orientation impedes businesses from having a real vision and translating it into goals and smart objectives to achieve. In addition, the organization population is denied their basic right to a learning organization and both a planned and structured learning curve. Therefore; real growth is hindered and a steadily growing and sustainable annuity of revenue on the long term cannot be achieved.

The person might expect, and end up facing a reality that fail way shorter than their initial optimistic expectations; a matter which is acceptable if the expectations weren’t based on scientific and knowledgeable bases. Meanwhile, it is not acceptable for estimates of a desired situation to fall way shorter than the actual situation (resulting in a significant gap) if estimates were based on historical data and implicit trends uncovered in the data.

To reduce risks on your investment, distribute your portfolio investments on several industries and businesses with varying seasons and well-studied and documented risk types and levels. Likewise, to reduce social risks, distribute your relationship investments on diverse and dispersed networks. However; maintain good management when networks intersect and shared connections exist (or are created deliberately) as the situation and the entire socialization process might turn into complete chaos with disastrous outcomes, where one party alone bears its full expense.

Allied parties (partners) with shared cause and goals should be careful when they are disconnected and communication channels are cut completely due to the resulting rage when both parties think the other party has more information, possesses greater knowledge about the situation, and keeps this knowledge and information discretely to themselves from the partner. The situation might be escalated until allied parties consider each other the sole and greatest-threat enemies and start treating each other accordingly. Indeed; an intervening third party who involved themselves (or were involved incidentally by one party) and pretend to be a saint-like friend or advisor who care for both parties’ well-being could be the real party who has the information and uses it secretly to create a gap in the alliance and widen it until the alliance is broken into bunch of hostile groups busy fighting each other, instead of focusing on the real enemy.

Know Well

Always take the necessary time to know people well, for there might be a point of time, where you discover you have never really known them.

Wondering and wondering

Do we need somebody to burn completely alive in front of our own eyes, in order for us to wake up and revolutionize the status quo?

Should somebody’s entire existence be sacrificed in order to believe in certain facts and realize that we may have been surrounded by fake, hypocrite and corrupted persons?

What does a person’s vast practical experience, domain-centric knowledge, and quality mentality serve if they are fooled effortlessly by persons with shallow intellects, and lower capabilities, and have been subject of manipulation by such persons repeatedly without learning any lessons?

I am just wondering, in my quest throughout an experiment that failed to produce the expected results:

During our daily lives, and in critical situations where our entire characters, ethics, minds, and beliefs are challenged and questioned; where do we place ourselves on a continuum ranging from being pre-emptively Proactive, to Active, descending to being merely Reactive, and ending by being totally Passive?!

Wondering, and wondering, until some answers are found…

Fighters ‘My Way’

Doctors, nurses and paramedics who take due professional care of a patient who either has been a source of pain in their lives, and hurt them, or hurt someone whom they really care for. Hats down to those gentlemen/respectful ladies if this patient was the enemy they are facing during a fatal struggle.

Muslims, who raise their hands making supplications to Allah to grant guidance “هداية” to somebody who caused major destruction to their lives, while hiding behind the scenes. Greater fighters they are when they forgive at the peak of pain and agony, while they can otherwise make supplications that Allah punishes those people.

Individuals, who prefer to stay anonymous in their struggle for a just cause, knowing that their anonymity serves the cause while their popularity and identity exposure serve their own selves. Their simple cost-benefit analysis was for the cause rather than themselves.

A man, who fights for a faithful woman because he believes in her and knows that Allah guided her to the right path, which made her a material for a quality wife and mother, both in this life, and the hereafter. What a warrior is he if he fights persistently, without having least doubts about her, seeking Allah’s guidance and having full faith that Allah will always choose the best for both of them.

Individuals who seek knowledge, rather than degrees to decorate their resumes or profiles, and target the type of knowledge that does not only benefit their being, but benefits the being of others in their society. Imagine if those individuals were academic, teachers and mentors who seek beneficial knowledge for this life and the hereafter!

A woman, who in her search of a quality faithful man, does not mind fighting the world for his sake, having full heart and belief in him, and knowing he won’t let her down. Him fighting the world for her would nurture her power and grant her the strength to fight the inclinations, rumors, and intrusions.

A person, who fights fiercely in a structured and civilized way for a belief not to obtain fame, become the center of attention, or for people to know that he’s not a coward, and just for the sake of the truth. This person is a greater fighter when during their search of beliefs journey, they seek the truth only for the sake of the truth, rather than winning!

Humans, whose perceptions cannot be distorted during distressful times when the straddling line between reality and imagination and between the fake and the real, disappears. Satan and his followers have no control over such humans even during the hardest times when values deteriorate sharply and faith is questioned continuously!

A person who can consistently and persistently maintain the professional and ethical attitude and remain objective regardless what is being said and spread about them. They are considered complete fighters when they eliminate any conflict of interest and overcome the other party’s negative personal attitude.

People, who in their daily jobs, do things perfectly beyond what their profession mandates, and do not stick to the basics considered necessary for their job. Those extra mile fighters have a strong and persistent focus on ‘long term results’.

A person who gave up on everything and scarified most of this life benefits, even when let down and held back by others, in pursuit of one thing: maintaining faith in Allah.

Dedicated to all teachers and mentors who work in the back scene, and support their students to fight properly, and fairly, and obtain greater knowledge and strength. As a final word, I would like to say that:

إن عبداً ترك الدنيا ومافيها بحثاً عن حب الله وحفاظاً على إيمانه بالله وتمسكاً بتعاليم الإسلام، جازاه الله بأكثر مما كان يتوقع وعجز علم الحساب  والاقتصادعن تقدير منافع الرفعة الروحانية التي وصل لها؛ لأن علاقة الله بعباده المؤمنين لم ولن تخضع لقواعد الاستثمار والحسابات الدنيوية.
